Come celebrate for two days during the Middle Ages!
On the program for the weekend:
The camps:
You will stroll through medieval and historical reconstruction camps: presentation of daily life, cooking, weapons, war machines, calligraphy, weaving, forging…
You can also watch fights and medieval fencing tournaments in the moat.
Music, shows, animations
Outside
Musical wanderings, concerts, street theatre, juggling, fire-eaters, dancing… Our different troops are waiting for you all weekend.
Indoors :
The Galerie des Antiques will once again host shows including the Cercle Pierre Bayle with 2 medieval farces.
In the Room of Treasures several craftsmen will be installed: presentation of illumination, illustration and Chinese calligraphy. Illustrators will also be there!
In the courtyard of the castle :
Come unite on the wedding podium with ceremonies throughout the weekend.
Children will not be forgotten this year again
The medieval market : at night on Saturday until 10 p.m.
With its hundred exhibitors (French, Belgian, German, Czech, etc.), the market will offer a wide choice of objects and delicacies from the Middle Ages! Wooden toys, period costumes, medieval jewelry, leather, spices, sweets and medieval drinks will delight young and old alike.
Catering and refreshments :
On-site catering in real taverns but also snacks in the market area.
Presence of various refreshments of local beer producers and producers of medieval drinks.
Saturday night :
The festivities will continue into Saturday evening.
Departure of the historical procession at 8.30 p.m. in the courtyard of the Château – arrival scheduled for 9.30 p.m. in the Douves for the presentation of the troops and companies to the public. The evening will then continue in the moat with a concert and a fire show to end with a fireworks display!
