Due to the hot weather and the Orange Heatwave Warning, the programme for the weekend of 11 and 12 July 2026 has been adjusted.
– The jousting display, originally scheduled for 3.00 pm, will now take place at 11.00 am (gates close 5 minutes before the start). The “At the Squires’ School” activity, originally scheduled for 11.30 am, has been cancelled.
– The morning guided tour has been brought forward to 10.30 am, and the afternoon guided tour will take place at 5.00 pm.
– The Apprentice Gunner workshop at 11.00 am has been cancelled. All other workshops will take place as scheduled.
New animation: Immerse yourself in the day-to-day life of an acrobat, a funny and slightly awkward performer who is trying to master his juggling acts before the grand banquet organised by the princely family.
Between laughter, surprises and moments of magic, he shares his adventures at Sedan Castle with you.

Enjoy a timeless moment in a majestic setting, savouring a meal served on a platter accompanied by a glass of hypocras whilst the courtyard comes alive to the rhythms of juggling and fire shows. Then prolong the magic with a night-time tour of the castle by torchlight!

The Holy Roman Empire is searching for the artefact that protects Sedan Castle. The castle has fallen into their hands. But the princess hasn’t said her last word! Come and support her and her companions as they set out to recapture the fortress.
5 pm : La leçon d'Enguerrand (30 min)
A fun, educational and humorous look at the secrets of heraldry and helms in the Middle Ages.
