Adult Groups
Accompanied by a guide or on your own, set off on a complete tour of the castle. You begin with a tour focusing on the exceptional architecture of the fortress. This tour will take you on a discovery of the bastions, ramparts, battlements and the many techniques and tricks that have made the castle an impregnable fortress.
You will then enter the Galerie des Princes, where you will be invited to the wedding of Princess Charlotte de la Marck to Henri de la Tour d’Auvergne. It’s 15 October 1591, and we look forward to seeing you at the banquet!
The tour ends with a visit to the Sedan City Museum, which has an impressive collection that traces the history of the city up to the battle of 1870.
Children Groups
Sedan Castle welcomes school groups all year round to discover its 600 years of history. We offer self-guided or guided tours of the site, as well as themed workshops for different cycles.
The tour allows them to discover the entire Castle, starting with the exceptional architecture of the fortress.
It is also possible to attend chivalry shows during the month of June.
