10.30 am: The lord’s armoury (30 min)
In his workshop, the lord’s armourer will show you the weapons and armour of the Middle Ages and how they evolved. In French only – text available in English and Dutch.
11am: Trebuchet shooting (20 min)
Do you know what a trebuchet is? Discover a legendary siege machine with our artilleryman. In French only – text available in English and Dutch
11.30am: Guided tour (1h15)
Discover the bastions, ramparts and many techniques that have made the castle an impregnable fortress. Let yourself be carried away by the history of one of the largest fortified castles in Europe, accompanied by one of our mediators. In French only. Supplement of 3€ – Capacity of 40 people.
11.30am : “A l’école des écuyers” animation (30 min)
The Lord of Sedan recruits new soldiers to form his royal guard. He entrusted this difficult task to his equerry who, believing he was doing the right thing, recruited a dozen children to train them in the art of knighthood. An interactive show designed for children.*
2pm: À la table du seigneur (30 min)
The castle’s chef invites you to sit at the table of the Prince of Sedan. Discover the evolution of food from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. In French only – text available in English and Dutch.
3pm : “La princesse aux deux visages” show (45 min – door closes 5 min before the start of the show)
A major chivalry show with a never-before-seen scenario. Princess Charlotte de la Marck, exhausted by her princely duties, takes us along in her dreams of glory, from the Orient to Sedan!*
4pm : Guided tour (1h15)
Discover the bastions, ramparts and many techniques that have made the castle an impregnable fortress. Let yourself be carried away by the history of one of Europe’s greatest fortified castles, accompanied by one of our mediators. In French only. Supplement of 3€ – Capacity of 40 people.

Immerse yourself in the daily life of an acrobat, a funny and slightly awkward performer who is trying to master his juggling tricks before the grand banquet organised by the princely family. Between laughter, surprises and moments of magic, he shares his adventures at Sedan Castle with you.
