This regulation applies to visitors to the castle of Sedan as well as persons and groups who are allowed to temporarily occupy the premises for meetings, receptions and various events, and any person outside the institution for this professional reasons.

 
 
Days and opening hours
   
 

The castle is open daily from April to September. From October to March, it closed some Mondays in school holidays applied in Zone B in France and in all areas of the Netherlands and Belgium. The last tour starts in place no later than 90 minutes before complete closure. Depending on which events are scheduled, the institution can implement specific times. In this case, special provisions are displayed at the entrance.

 
   
Prices
   
 

Access to the tour is charged. It is subject to the issuance of a ticket sold at the current rate. Any visitor who is not controlled carrier of an access card (ticket,"PASS" card, invitation, badge, ..) would be redirected to the cases or, if he does not want to buy a ticket, excluding spaces pay. In addition, visitors who received either free or reduced fare must be able to justify this situation.

 
   
Access and movement
   
 

Access to the courtyard of the castle is forbidden to all types of vehicles (cars and / or trucks), with the exception of those receiving special permission (delivery, guests ..) The access to the court is authorized to vehicles carrying people with disabilities. Free parking is available all around the castle. The visit of the castle is free, guided or audio tour. By the very nature of the place, the visit is not accessible to persons with disabilities or pushchairs. Baby gates are available free at the box office. The input of the tour is located on the Promenoir des Prêtres at the foot of Bastion du Roy. The output of the circuit is located in the courtyard 'de la Baille'

 
   
Peace, Security
   
 

It is forbidden to cross barriers and devices to hold the public to borrow from unauthorized access and marked as such and to enter restricted areas, impede the circulation and escape routes. The visitors' attention is particularly drawn to the specific risk associated with historical and military site. Circulations were designed to obstruct the progress of the assailants. Where soils and footboards are unequal, there is a risk of falling. Parents or carers of children must exercise constant vigilance. Generally, visitors are asked to avoid creating, by their attitude, their dress or their words, any disturbance whatsoever in the smooth running of events and visits, and follow the safety instructions. Visitors to refrain from including any act likely to endanger the safety of persons and property, disturbing the quiet enjoyment of other visitors, deface the premises or the furniture. Otherwise, visitors Violators may as appropriate, or be expelled from the premises or be the subject of a complaint with the relevant authorities. Visitors are advised that the police are permitted to intervene in the castle.

 
   
Personal effects
   
 

The visitor's attention is drawn to the fact that there is no coat check service at the castle. The Castle of Sedan is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to personal property occurred visitors. Items found should be handed to a staff member to be deposited in the administration office, where they are required to provide their owners for 48 hours. After this time, items will be delivered to the lost property office as mayor of Sedan.

 
   
Provisions for groups
   
 

In case of reservation, the group leader must present its contract to host or guide. Group visits are made in the constant presence of a responsible member of the group, which enforces the requirements of this regulation and discipline.

Guide providing a possible intervention group can not absolve the manager of his presence.

Concerning groups of children, number of children borne by each manager shall not exceed that fixed by the regulations in force.

 
   
Filming and recording
   
 

Tolerance combined leave is left to amateurs using either foot, or flash their shots on the sole condition that the operation which is made of these shots are limited to a strictly private and that people filmed or photographed belong exclusively to their family circle or friends. Visitors to the castle of Sedan are informed that they may be videotaped by surveillance cameras installed on its premises for security reasons.

 
   
Emergencies
   
 

Any accident, disaster or unusual event must be immediately reported to a staff member of the institution. In the presence of a situation likely to endanger the safety of persons and goods, provision of warning may be taken including having full or partial closure of an area and control outputs. Similarly, on the occasion of exceptional events, the castle of Sedan will proceed with the verification of bags and vehicles, particularly in the context of a plan "Vigipirate"

 
   
Miscellaneous provisions
   
 

A register of complaints is available to the public at the reception and bar area of the castle to allow any record of any comments, suggestion or complaint regarding the maintenance of the facility or staff.
